Trump attended the launch of the Starship spacecraft
SpaceX has made the sixth test flight of its Starship rocket, the company is developing a giant space transportation vehicle.
The rocket launched from SpaceX’s private Starbase in Texas. US President-elect Donald Trump flew in to watch the launch.
It is reported that the flight directors refused to smoothly land the rocket’s upper stage and let it crash into the water.

SpaceX said the launch vehicle failed to meet the “fix criteria” required for an intercept attempt, so instead the rocket-dropped in the Gulf of Mexico.
SpaceX has conducted six full Starship rocket system tests since April 2023, and the frequency of its launches has steadily increased.
After a successful fifth flight, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that SpaceX had received authorization to conduct a sixth flight.
