Commercial transportation by unmanned flying taxis is allowed
It has become known that the Chinese unmanned flying taxi EHang has been approved for official commercial passenger transportation.
The Chinese company has become the first in the world to receive an airworthiness certificate for its unmanned taxi.
4 thousand test flights, this is how many successful flights the company has conducted since the start of testing in 2017.
The EHang taxi is designed for two passengers and can accelerate to 130 km/h.
The company intends to launch commercial operation of its flying taxi in China and abroad soon.
It has already received more than 1.2 thousand pre-orders for its air taxi model from different countries and regions, including the United States, Europe and Southeast Asia.
