Russian Troops Attempted a Massive Tank Breakthrough
Ukrainian defense forces thwarted an attempt by Russian occupation forces to carry out a massive tank breakthrough in the Dobropillia sector.
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service, which released a video showing the destruction of enemy armored vehicles.
The Russian occupiers carried out one of the largest tank breakthrough attempts in recent times. Ukrainian border guards thwarted the Russian army’s assault.
During the battle, three “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, two armored vehicles, and nine Russian tanks were destroyed. The occupiers also suffered significant personnel losses.
“All of the occupiers’ armored vehicles were left to burn out in the fields and plantations of Donbas,” Ukrainian border guards added in their comments.
It was previously reported that a German “Leopard” tank with a Ukrainian crew managed to destroy a large column of Russian army armored vehicles during the battle.
A Ukrainian infantryman also managed to single-handedly repel an attack by five Russian paratroopers. He held his position until Ukrainian drones arrived to provide support.
