The world’s largest car transportation ship has set off on its maiden voyage
It has become known that Chinese auto giant BYD has sent its new ship Shenzhen to Brazil.
This miracle vessel can hold more than 9 thousand different cars.
The new vessel is the fourth for BYD and is now the largest car carrier in the world.
This week, BYD Shenzhen embarked on its first overseas voyage.
Although it has a record 9,200 parking spaces, Shenzhen is only carrying 7,000 during its maiden voyage.
All of these autos are electric cars and plug-in hybrids, and this is the largest batch of new-energy autos exported from China to date.
BYD launched its first car carrier, the Explorer No 1, back in January 2024. It has already made several trips to Germany, Spain and Brazil.
According to trade experts, these new car carriers will help accelerate the capture of overseas markets.
It is also reported that the company has already sold more than 206,000 electric cars and hybrids abroad in the first three months of 2025.
