The world’s kindest judge has died

American judge and social media star Frank Caprio has died at the age of 88 after a long battle with cancer. This is reported by The Guardian.

Videos of Judge Caprio presiding over cases on his popular TV show “Caught in Providence” have garnered billions of views on social media.

The cause of death was pancreatic cancer. The judge’s death was announced on his official social media page.

“His legacy lives on in the countless good deeds of the people he inspired. In his honor, we will try to bring a little more compassion into the world – just as he did every day,” the statement said.

Caprio became “the world’s nicest judge” because of his compassion in the courtroom and his condescension toward people.

That being said, Frank Caprio did serve as a Providence Municipal Court judge from 1985 to 2023.

His most popular videos are those in which he calls children into court to help them sentence their parents.

Earlier it was reported that, for the first time in history, a judge in the US used a Quest 2 VR headset to recreate a crime scene during a court hearing.

A judge in Florida allowed defense attorneys to present a virtual simulation of the incident in a self-defense case.
