It became known that the EU Council approved the 13th package of sanctions against the aggressor state of the Russian Federation.
It included 106 individuals and 88 legal entities. In particular, companies from India, Sri Lanka, China, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Thailand and Turkey.
“Today, we are further strengthening restrictive measures against the Russian military and defense sector, targeting further organizations in third countries that supply equipment, as well as those responsible for the illegal deportation and military re-education of Ukrainian children,” said Josep Borrell.
It is also known that Britain joined the restrictions on the import of iron and steel from the Russian Federation.
The new sanctions were approved before the second anniversary of the invasion of the Russian Federation.
