Sony’s PlayStation 5 Pro

Sony has unveiled the new PlayStation 5 Pro. It is the most powerful console in history.

On sale starting November 7 for $699.

AMD Zen 2 8-core processor with 16 threads at 3.5 GHz (also has a 3.85 GHz mode);
RDNA 3 graphics chip with 33.5 teraflops;
16GB GDDR6 RAM at 18Gbps (14Gbps on the regular model).
576 GB/s throughput;
Graphics rendering is 45% faster than the regular model;
2TB SSD;
Tracing speed increased by 2-3 times;
PSSR upscaling technology will first appear in PS5 Pro with the expectation of running games at 60 FPS with improved picture quality;
PS5 Pro will support both new and old games.
console will be sold without a built-in floppy disk drive, but supports the ability to insert a dedicated PlayStation floppy disk drive

The pre-order will be available starting September 26.
