Russia says goodbye to Alexei Navalny

In the Russian capital, Moscow, they are saying goodbye to opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

There was a line at the entrance to the temple where the funeral service for the Russian politician would be held; people’s documents were being checked.

Metal frames are installed at the entrance to the temple itself and the cemetery. After the funeral service, Nazalny will be buried at Borisovo Cemetery.

It is noted that Navalny’s closest supporters will not be at the funeral – they are abroad, as criminal cases have been filed against them.

But at the funeral service they noticed the ambassadors of the United States Lynn Tracy, Germany Alexander Graf Lambsdorff, France Pierre Levy and diplomatic representatives of several other EU countries.

The coffin with the body of Alexei Navalny was delivered to the church where the funeral service will take place.

A huge crowd had gathered on the street. People greeted the hearse with applause.
