Musk’s fortune rose by $26.5 billion after Trump’s victory
Cosmic gain: the day after Donald Trump’s victory, Elon Musk’s fortune grew by $26.5 billion.
Most of the gains were due to the rise in US stocks. The S&P 500 index rose 2.5% at the end of trading on November 6.
And Tesla shares soared 15% in New York at the end of trading on Wednesday, extending gains over the past year to 32%.
In addition to Elon Musk, other billionaires have capitalized on Donald Trump’s victory and stock gains:
💰 Oracle Corporation co-founder Larry Ellison: $10 billion;
💰 Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett – $7.5 billion;
💰 Amazon founder Jeff Bezos: $7 billion;
💰 Google co-founder Larry Page: $5.5 billion.
And Elon Musk is already trying on the Oval Office.
