London “Arsenal” got into a scandal because of Arshavin

The press service of the London football club “Arsenal” deleted a scandalous post about Arshavin due to criticism from Ukrainian fans.

The day before, the official Twitter account of “Arsenal” congratulated the Russian football player on his birthday.

Arshavin campaigned for the Londoners from 2009 to 2013, and currently supports the war his country has launched against Ukraine.

On Monday, Arsenal’s Twitter account posted a video of Russian Arshavina goals against Liverpool in 2009.

“We wish you a good day, Andriy,” read the video’s caption.
