Brinicle is one of the most amazing phenomena of nature
Sometimes huge ice stalactites are formed in the sea from literally nothing, stretching from the surface to the very bottom.
When they reach the bottom, they don’t stop there.
They continue to grow towards the lower level of the bottom surface.
And it stops only when it has reached the lowest point of the shelf.
Like a killer of ice, it is capable of killing all life on its way, even quite large organisms.
That’s why it’s called the “ice finger of death”.
The most common victims are starfish, fish and algae.
Looks like another Agartha trail. Especially since even scientists can’t explain where it all came from.
