Blocking social network TikTok

In the US, the popular social network TikTok can be blocked, the House of Representatives has passed a bill.

This is reported by CNN.

The bill was supported by 352 members of the House of Representatives against 65, including: 15 Republicans and 50 Democrats.

The passed bill bans TikTok from US app stores.

If only the social network, which is used by about 170 million Americans, will not be separated from its Chinese parent company ByteDance.

The adopted document must still be voted on in the Senate.
