An implant that restores vision has been invented

Elon Musk’s company has unveiled an implant that will restore sight even to those blind from birth.

The novelty was named Blindsight. The development was carried out by the company Neuralink.

This company belongs to the American billionaire and inventor Elon Musk.

The innovative technology has already received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), reports Reuters.

In the initial stages, Blindsight owners will have low-quality vision.

But in the future, it could surpass natural vision, allowing them to see in infrared, ultraviolet or radar.

For now, the new startup is recruiting volunteers to test the implant.
