Ukrainian Defense Forces Repelled a New Assault by the Russian Army

Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled a massive mechanized assault by the Russian army in the Kupiansk direction.

This was reported on May 7 on social media by the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade, named after Prince Roman the Great.

The Ukrainian military reports that during the repulsion of the attack, Russian occupiers lost 12 soldiers, and two others were seriously wounded.

In addition, during the failed offensive, the Russian army also lost one MT-LB (multi-purpose combat vehicle) and 12 ATVs.

“How our brigade celebrated Infantry Day. Powerful, vivid, and explosive… for the enemy attempting a mechanized assault,” reads the caption accompanying the released video.

We previously reported on another successful engagement by Ukrainian forces. Earlier, Ukrainian infantrymen set up a perfect ambush for a Russian assault team, leaving it no time to react or even raise its weapons.
