UFO or Secret Russian Weapon? Strange Drone Shot Down

The bizarre shape of this object was more reminiscent of something out of a science fiction film than a typical aircraft. With its mysterious ring-shaped wing and unusual design, this strange object resembled an alien UFO.

The Ukrainian military managed to detect and shoot down this strange flying object, raising questions about its true nature.

Video footage of the interception was published by operators of Ukraine’s 414th Separate Brigade, known as the “Birds of Madyar.”

The unusual flying object stood out with its distinctive round wing and unconventional design. Unlike typical drones, it had a ring-shaped structure surrounding its central portion, giving it a distinctive silhouette.

According to the Ukrainian military publication “Military,” this may be the new Russian attack drone, “Prince Vladimir Svyatoslavich.” This drone was developed at the Russian research and production center “Ushkuynik.”

According to available information, the drone is built on a 10-inch frame. Its design is aimed at combining vertical takeoff with more efficient forward flight, potentially allowing it to operate without the need for a conventional runway.

The most distinctive feature is the circular wing encircling the central fuselage. Unlike the straight or swept wings found on many aircraft, this closed structure creates a different aerodynamic configuration.

The annular wing is designed to influence airflow and generate lift. The design is intended to assist the aircraft in transitioning from vertical to horizontal flight. However, its actual performance depends on factors such as speed, weight, and operating conditions.

According to published estimates, the drone’s range is approximately 50 kilometers. Its payload reportedly includes a warhead weighing up to three kilograms, comparable to that of another Russian drone, the Prince Vandal Novgorodsky.

These characteristics suggest that the drone was intended for strike missions over relatively short distances. Its unusual configuration distinguishes it from more traditional drones, although its actual combat advantages remain unclear.

What initially appeared to be a mysterious alien-like UFO-like object may be an attempt to develop another type of military covert aircraft.

It was previously reported that Ukrainian military drone operators captured a completely silent, disc-shaped UFO hovering over the front line. “What the hell is that?” one Ukrainian soldier exclaimed in surprise during the footage.
