Zelenskyy response to Slovak Prime Minister Fitco

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the invitation of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitco.

“Good. Come to Kyiv on Friday,” the Ukrainian leader wrote in X.

Earlier, Fico suggested Zelenskyy to meet near the border to discuss the transit of Russian gas.

“I would like to continue a constructive dialogue based on mutual respect,” the Slovak Prime Minister said in his address.

As is known, there have been some in-person squabbles between Fico and Zelenskyy recently.

The head of the Slovak government called Zelenskyy a “beggar” and called for “putting an end” to his trips to Europe for money and weapons.

This was said in the context of a dispute over gas transit from Russia, which was stopped by Ukraine.

The Ukrainian leader wrote a response. He said that Ukraine offered Slovakia compensation for refusing Russian gas.

“We offered our help to the people of Slovakia for the period of adaptation to the absence of gas transit from Russia, but Fico himself pompously refused,” the Ukrainian president wrote.

Fico placed his bets on Moscow, with which he created “shadow schemes”.

In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed hope that Russian gas in Europe will be replaced by American gas.

This could happen as part of the implementation of President Trump’s policy to increase supplies to the continent.
