Ukrainian military liberate factory from Russians
As the Russian offensive on the town of Vovchansk waned, Ukrainian counterattacks gradually pushed back the front line in the town.
The Russians left behind at the chemical plant then became even more isolated than before. This is reported by Forbes.
The Ukrainian military launched an assault on the plant complex by at least four separate teams of special forces.
They stormed the plant and cleared it room by room in an operation that the department described as “extremely complex and successful.”
A systematic sweep of the factory buildings was carried out, constantly engaging in contact battles with the enemy.
In some cases, Ukrainian special forces engaged in hand-to-hand combat with the Russians.
It is known that at the beginning of the battle, hundreds of Russians were scattered across 30 buildings.
They had some fire support from Russian artillery.

The liberation of the Volchansk aggregate plant eliminates the danger the Russians posed to the Ukrainian army, which is advancing northward to the Russian-held territories.
To dislodge the occupiers from the plant, the Ukrainian Armed Forces dropped bombs and pursued the Russians with drones and snipers.
