Animal tracks that are about 166 million years old have reportedly been discovered in England.
The largest track of dinosaur footprints in the UK has been discovered in a limestone quarry.
This famous quarry is located in the county of Oxfordshire in the south of England. BBC reports.
About two hundred footprints left by animals 166 million years ago cross part of the quarry.
Scientists have determined that the footprints were left by two different species of dinosaurs.
They are the long-necked sauropod Cetiosaurus and the smaller meat-eating Megalosaurus.
The length of the longest tracks with dinosaur footprints is 150 meters.
It is reported that it is possible to discover and extend the tracks if further excavations are made.
