The world premiere of the long-awaited film “Napoleon” is planned today

The film was directed by Alien and Gladiator author Ridley Scott, with Joker Joaquin Phoenix playing the lead role.

The film premiered last week in Paris and received a lot of reviews.

Some say this is one of the most epic films in recent memory. Others write that the figure of Napoleon has been reduced to the story of Josephine, and also point to a number of historical inaccuracies.

And a number of French critics called the film “a very anti-French film made by an Englishman.”
