The court declared illegal the actions of UEFA and FIFA to ban the creation of a football Super League

It became known that the European Court declared illegal the actions of UEFA and FIFA regarding the ban on the creation of the football Super League.

The Super League is a tournament promoted by several leading football clubs (notably Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus).

They want to make the tournament as an alternative to the Champions League, accusing UEFA of dishonest distribution of funds.

Previously, UEFA blocked the creation of the tournament. The court ruled that international federations did not have a monopoly on club competitions and that a Super League could be created.

The leadership of the not yet created Super League promises clubs more payments than from UEFA.
