Russian ministers were kicked out of the hall until Kim Jong-un entered
The incident occurred during Vladimir Putin’s visit to North Korea.
The Russian Foreign Minister and Defense Minister, among others, were kicked out of the meeting room.
A North Korean official expelled Russian ministers who entered the meeting room before Kim Jong-un.
The scandalous incident was broadcast live by a North Korean TV channel.
Thus, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, Defense Minister Belousov and Health Minister Murashko were expelled from the hall.
In the video, a voice with an accent can be heard saying in Russian, “Come out into the hall.”
One of the Russian ministers asks, “Why did we come here? You would have warned us right away.”
“Our leader will enter first,” the same voice informs, after which the Russian ministers leave the hall and the broadcast goes on to show an empty room.
Shortly after the news broke across the world’s media, there was a reaction from the Russian Federation.
There, the event was called a “working moment” and a “minor mishap.”
“We see that this incident is being deliberately ‘hyped’, but we will definitely not and are not going to react to it in any public way,” journalists quoted unnamed diplomatic sources as saying.
