Russian army general Klimenko liquidated in Ukraine

The Russian army has lost another representative of its top commanders during the invasion of Ukraine.

Major-General Pavel Klimenko, who commanded a Russian motorized rifle brigade, has been killed. Censor.net reports.

The general of the Russian occupation troops was attacked by a Ukrainian drone near the front line at a roadblock.

He was taken to hospital, diagnosed with head injuries and a fractured femur. He died 2.5 hours after being wounded.

This general was accused of setting up torture chambers in Donetsk, where Russian soldiers were tortured and their salaries were taken away.

He also reportedly became the eighth general to die since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

The first Russian general killed during the war was the deputy commander of the 41st Combined Arms Army, Andrei Sukhovetsky.

The death of the Russian general became known on March 1, 2022, he was eliminated by a Ukrainian sniper.

Earlier, it was reported that during a missile attack on the Belbek airfield in occupied Crimea, Russian Army General Tatarenko was killed.

He was a 1st class military pilot. In 2016, the general was appointed commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Central Military District of Russia.
