Lukashenko accused Ukraine of violating the border

Aleksandr Lukashenko said that allegedly yesterday, Ukrainian targets violated the airspace of Belarus and were shot down.

All troops and air defense forces in Belarus were put on high alert. This was reported by
RBC.

Belarusian dictator Lukashenko gave instructions to strengthen the grouping of troops on the border with Ukraine and respond to any provocations.

Special forces, ground troops, and missile forces are being brought in, including Polonez rocket systems and Iskander complexes.

“We suspect that these are strike drones, having violated the airspace of Belarus, flying from Ukraine. Over the territory of Belarus, we destroyed these targets,” said Lukashenko.

Earlier, Belarus also introduced troops into the border areas – allegedly because of the accumulation of Ukrainian forces there.

But then Lukashenko said that the Ukrainian military had withdrawn their units, and Minsk would do the same.

Belarus is once again bringing its troops closer to the Ukrainian border.

This can be either an attempt to secure itself or an attempt to force Ukraine to pull back some of its military to the Belarusian section of the border.
