Legendary basketball player Jordan’s jersey, sold at auction for nearly $5 million
A game jersey of basketball legend Michael Jordan sold at a Sotheby’s auction for 4.68 million dollars.
In this jersey, Jordan spent at least 17 games for the Chicago Bulls. This is reported by ESPN.
Among the games was a confrontation with NBA rookie Allen Iverson, who beat the legend with a crossover.
A total of five lots of The Ultimate Jordan Collection were offered for sale.
Game and practice jerseys and shorts and Jordan sneakers from the University of North Carolina were sold for more modest amounts.
Also sold was a USA Basketball team flag from the 1992 Summer Olympics. The total for all lots was $8.5 million dollars.
Michael Jordan is a six-time NBA champion and two-time winner of the Olympics.
According to many experts, he remains the best basketball player in history.
