How the explosions of communication devices in Lebanon will change the world
It is commonly said that the war in Ukraine led to a revolution in military affairs, radically changing approaches to combat operations.
But the current explosions of communication devices in Lebanon may lead to radical changes that will affect not only armies and special services, but the entire population of the planet.
According to the version spread in the media, electronic devices with lithium-ion batteries are now exploding.
While this version is not exactly confirmed, perhaps gadgets not only with them are exploding, but one fact is obvious.
In whatever element of communication devices would not be laid explosives, it was not detected by the currently used explosives scanners.
Given the fact that the Iranian ambassador’s communication device was also blown up, it obviously had to be repeatedly checked for explosives.
For example, when entering the embassy or the command centers, and this control showed nothing.
The main conclusion from what has happened is that there is a technology for making explosives that is undetectable by the currently used controls.
If this assumption is correct, while the mechanism of the explosion is not yet clearly understood, the consequences could be enormous.
A huge number of processes in ordinary life could be jeopardized.
First and foremost, air travel. Terrorists, having mastered this technology, will be able to sneak gadgets on board and detonate them during the flight.
And this is just one example.
The meaning of many of the devices we use may be rethought, new restrictions and bans may be introduced, and controls may be tightened.
And in the end, the world will definitely not be a safer and freer place.
