About 2,000 pro-Palestinian protesters marched in Malmö, Sweden, where the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest will be held on May 9.
Israel is scheduled to perform there. The activists claim that the Israeli army is committing genocide against Palestinians.
To support the protest came Swedish ecoactivist Greta Thunberg. This was reported by the Suspilne TV channel.
People from Denmark, Sweden and migrants from Palestine came to the protests.
“It’s important because there is genocide going on in the world. And we all have a moral obligation to speak out and protest against it,” said Greta Thunberg.
Earlier, it was reported that the London court acquitted ecoactivist Greta Thunberg and four other people.
Greta, along with other activists, was accused by the court of refusing to obey the police during the climate protest in October 2023.
