Deprive of residence permit for pro-Russian actions

Swedish Migration Minister Johan Forssell has expressed indignation at the holding of a pro-Russian rally in Stockholm on the occasion of May 9.

This is reported by the Expressen edition.

Forssell suggested that residence permits be revoked for participants on May 9 celebrations.

“This pisses me off. Association with extremist movements is an example of a circumstance that can be covered under the new criminal record requirement for residence permits. We have no obligation whatsoever to show hospitality to people who threaten our public order or security.,” the minister said.

Swedish media found out that the organizers of the annual rally are connected with the Russian propaganda platform “Immortal Regiment”.

This platform traditionally holds events on May 9 not only in the Russian Federation, but also abroad.

In particular, among the participants are a former member of a neo-Nazi group, an ex-employee of the Russian Interior Ministry and public supporters of the policies of dictator Vladimir Putin.

Earlier, it was reported that this year Russia canceled the “Immortal Regiment” actions.

Russian propagandists said that such a decision was allegedly taken for security reasons.

It was also reported that at the current rate of offensive and losses, the Russian army will not be able to occupy all of Ukraine until 2256, and it will cost it 101 million of its own losses.
