Biden donned a red cap with the words Trump 2024 written on it

US President Joe Biden wore a red cap with the inscription “Trump 2024”, as reported by Newsweek.

This happened during the President’s visit to the fire station in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, on the anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

The White House said that a Trump supporter from the crowd presented the cap to Biden and asked him to wear it as a friendly gesture.

The US president spoke of the country’s bipartisan unity after the September 11 tragedy.

As a confirmation of his words, Biden gave his cap to a Trump supporter, while he himself briefly tried on the Republican’s baseball cap.

Earlier in the day, Biden, Trump, Harris and their vice presidential candidates attended a 9\11 remembrance event together.

There, Trump and Kamala Harris shook hands. Harris arrived at the site where the World Trade Center was located.

She was along with Joe Biden, who also shook hands with Trump, media reports said.
