Australian sailor and his dog survive two months at sea
The network told an interesting story about how Australian sailor Tim Sheddock and his dog Bella survived after spending two months in the ocean.
This incredible story is reported by the 9News channel.
Sailor and dog Bella left La Paz in Mexico three months ago. They were going to French Polynesia, but a few weeks after the start of the journey, a storm occurred that damaged the ship.
They survived by eating only raw ocean fish and rainwater.
Rescue came about two months later when a helicopter escorting a tuna trawler spotted the drifting boat.
When the sailor Sheddock was found, he looked healthy and in good spirits. How can it be.
“I went through a very difficult test. I just need rest and good food because I have been alone at sea for a long time. Otherwise, I am in very good health,” he said.
Bella’s dog looked great too. According to the rescued sailor, she gave him an incredible positive mood to survive and not give up.
