This morning in Manchester, a car crashed into a group of people near the Chiton Park synagogue.
According to British media reports, the police say that there is no longer any danger to the public.
According to law enforcement officials, the attack took place at around 9:30 a.m. According to eyewitnesses, a man tried to enter the synagogue building but was stopped.
Armed police officers soon opened fire and wounded the suspect. He survived, but no further information about his condition has been reported.
A total of at least five people were injured: four were hit by a car, and another was stabbed.
