A new nuclear submarine has sunk in China
It became known that in China at the end of May this year sank a new nuclear submarine.
This is reported by Reuters with reference to its own sources.
It is known that the incident with the boat occurred on the ship Wuachang near the city of Wuhan.
The Zhou class submarine, which was built by China State Shipbuilding Corp. sank.
The submarine was reportedly last seen at a pier on the Yangtze River, where it was undergoing inspections before going to sea.
In early summer, cranes were brought to the site of the likely sinking to raise the submarine from the bottom.
This is evidenced by satellite photos of the scene from Planet Labs. The Chinese authorities tried to hide this fact.
At present, there are no reports of casualties and injured as a result of the incident.
It is also not known whether there was nuclear fuel on the sunken boat.
