It became known that in the Netherlands a balloon with 34 people crashed. One person died as a result of the accident in the Dutch Friesland.

It is known that the accident occurred during the landing of the balloon. About it reports Reuters

Five people were taken to the hospital with injuries. A total of 34 people were on the balloon.

A spokesman for the Royal Netherlands Aviation Association said that the balloon landed hard due to a gust of wind.

This caused the balloon’s basket to bounce, and five people fell out of it.

According to Omroep Fryslân, the balloon took off in the city of Jura and is one of the largest in the Netherlands.
