American APC Withstands Nine Attacks by Russian Drones
During the evacuation of wounded Ukrainian soldiers, an American M113 armored personnel carrier managed to withstand nine attacks by Russian FPV drones.
This was reported on the “Lut” channel of the Ukrainian National Police’s assault brigade.
It is known that Ukrainian soldiers were wounded during combat at positions near the town of Kostiantynivka.
The wounds were severe, caused by shrapnel, and there was no time to delay the evacuation. It was decided to evacuate the wounded quickly, and an American M113 armored personnel carrier was dispatched.
Upon seeing this, the Russian occupiers launched a targeted attack on the armored personnel carrier—nine FPV drones struck it.
After the successful evacuation, the wounded Ukrainian defenders were taken to a military hospital.
“The most important thing is that our guys are alive. Everything else is trivial. Right now, the guys are under medical supervision and their lives are not in danger,” reports the Ukrainian “Lut” Brigade.
It was also previously reported that the Ukrainian crew of a MaxxPro armored personnel carrier spotted an injured civilian on the road and rescued him, maneuvering between drones and shells.
