Russian Soldier Tries to Destroy a Drone with a Stick

A Russian paratrooper got off very lucky for a moment when a Ukrainian drone landed near him and failed to detonate.

But instead of fleeing into the woods, the occupier could think of nothing better to do than start beating the drone with a stick.

A video featuring yet another contender for the “Darwin Award” for the most idiotic death was published on the Ukrainian National Guard’s Telegram channel.

As seen in the released footage, after searching around for any kind of anti-drone device, the Russian decided to use a wooden stick to neutralize it.

In doing so, he showed remarkable persistence, striking it several times until the drone finally exploded.

“The occupier decided to ‘smack’ our drone on the head, but he didn’t take one detail into account. The drone didn’t explode upon impact, landing in the grass, but he decided to fix everything,” the Ukrainian military noted.

It was previously reported that during the battle, the Russian occupiers realized that if they wanted to survive, they had to surrender. They realized their situation was hopeless, raised a white flag, and wrote, “We surrender.”
