Humvee Windshield Saves Ukrainian Troops From FPV Drone
While carrying out a combat mission on the front lines, a crew of Ukrainian reconnaissance troops came under attack from a Russian FPV drone.
The video was published on the channel of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
In the footage, shot directly from inside the vehicle, the soldiers’ commands can be heard: “Come on, come on, forward! Forward!” the soldiers shout at the moment of the attack.
The incident occurred while Ukrainian troops were carrying out a combat mission. The scouts were rotating positions when Russian occupiers directed a drone at the vehicle.
However, neither the drone attack nor the explosion stopped the crew. The windshield of the armored Humvee withstood the impact, and the special forces soldiers themselves emerged unscathed.
Ukrainian intelligence notes that logistics and the movement of personnel remain among the most dangerous elements of modern warfare due to the constant threat of attack drones.
Earlier reports also described a successful engagement for Ukrainian infantrymen. The Ukrainian military set up a perfect ambush for a Russian assault group. They didn’t give the occupiers time to react to the danger or even raise their weapons.
