American actor and film director Sean Penn called on everyone to boycott the Oscars.

He said that he would publicly melt his statuette if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was not allowed to speak at the awards ceremony.

“If the Academy decides not to do this, if the hosts decide not to support Ukraine, which takes bullets and bombs for us along with Ukrainian children, then I think each of these people and their actions will look like the most obscene moment in the entire history of Hollywood,” Zaya Vyl American actor in an interview with CNN.
