The wives of Russian conscripts held a rally at the Kremlin wall in Moscow
This was reported by the Russian opposition publication SOTA. In total, about 15 women wearing white headscarves gathered at the rally.
They laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in memory of their husbands killed in the war.
Previously, the capital authorities refused to allow relatives of those mobilized to hold rallies.
In addition, relatives of those mobilized held single pickets in the center of Moscow.
There are no reports of authorities detaining the wives of Russian conscripts.
“Our government has turned my life into hell. Since 15 months ago, civilians were taken to the front. WE DEMAND DEMOBILIZATION” – the inscription on the poster.
“Freedom for the mobilized. Bring back husbands, fathers and sons.”
“2024 is the year of the family. Return those mobilized to their families.”
“The mobilized are on their way home. Down with conscription slavery.”
