We expect F-16s with missiles with a range of up to 500 km, – Naev

In the next military assistance packages, Ukraine expects to receive F-16 multirole fighters and missiles with a range of hitting targets of 300-500 km.

This was stated by the commander of the Joint Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Sergei Naev.

“In further military assistance packages, Ukraine expects F-16 aircraft and missiles with a range of hitting targets of 300–500 kilometers.”

“This will allow the Ukrainian Defense Forces to achieve even greater success on the battlefield and liberate our occupied territory from the enemy,” Naev said.

According to him, in the first month of the full-scale Russian invasion, the NLAW and JAVELIN anti-tank missile systems played an important role.

The portable anti-aircraft missile systems STINGER, STARSTREAK, PIORUN also helped a lot.
