In Russia, the death of a top manager of LUKOIL was reported. The 53-year-old vice president of the company, Vitaly Robertus, died.
Robertus’s death was the fourth among Lukoil top managers over the past two years.
Robertus came to LUKOIL immediately after graduation as an economist and in 30 years rose to his current position.
He was an aircraft model athlete, a seven-time Russian champion and a four-time world champion in aircraft modeling.
He was involved in the design and testing of drones, and was a co-founder and chief pilot of the RUSJET aviation club.
Information has emerged that he could have died, presumably from a combat drone strike on the Nizhny Novgorod oil refinery.
This version was reported by RBC-Ukraine sources, citing Ukrainian intelligence services.
The Russian press service of Lukoil published information about the death of the manager without details.
