Russian helicopter shot down by a maritime drone

The Main Directorate of Ukrainian intelligence has reported the world’s first aerial target hit by a Magura V5 maritime drone.

According to the intelligence agency, an uncrewed naval drone with missile armament destroyed a Russian Mi-8 helicopter this night.

The attack was carried out by fighters of the special unit “Group 13” during the battle successfully destroyed the Russian helicopter.

Another Russian helicopter was shot down, but managed to reach its home airfield.

This happened near Cape Tarkhankut in occupied Crimea. The Russian Federation confirms the attack on Crimea.

The occupation authorities in Crimea claim that there was an attack by 4 aerial targets over the sea and 2 sea drones near the coast.

Earlier, it was reported that two Russian schoolchildren sneaked into an airbase and burned down a military Mi-8 helicopter.

They threw a Molotov cocktail at the Russian helicopter and fled the scene of the incident.
