Ukrainian pilot Vladislav Rykov died in the war with the Russian occupiers.
The pilot had 385 combat missions.
His friend Rostislav Lazarenko reported this on his page on the social network Facebook.
It is reported that the Ukrainian hero died on February 7 while performing a combat mission.
“He was the best pilot and commander I knew. He had my back since the beginning of a full-scale war, both on the ground and in the air.”
“For me, this is an extremely difficult loss, because during these almost two years of war, Vlad was always there, and we solved all the problems together,” wrote his pilot friend.
He also stated that in the future he would tell the story of Vladislav Rykov.
“Because such people need to be known and remembered – he gave his life for our lives, for our freedom and for our Ukraine,” he added.
