The Ukrainian military has successfully used the US HIMARS missile system to target a concentration of Russian troops.
It is reported that the successful operation was carried out in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The video was published by the 108th brigade of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry in “Facebook”.
SkyForce aerial reconnaissance group with the help of drones recorded a mass transfer of Russian occupants at one of the locations.
About 40 Russian military personnel were concentrated in one location. A strike was promptly launched against them.
In addition to the HIMARS system, NATO artillery of 155 mm caliber was used for fire attack. They hit with fragmentation-fugitive and cluster munitions.
“The result was a direct hit on one of the trucks… The hunt continues,” the Ukrainian brigade said.
Earlier, it was reported that the USA plans to transfer 2,000 Humvee armored vehicles to the Ukrainian military.
These armored vehicles should help fill the gaps in Ukrainian positions on the frontline.
