Ukraine will be preparing a new counter-offensive in 2024, Vladimir Zelensky said in an interview with Fox News.

“Defending is task number one. Continuing our successful history in the Black Sea – we will do that. I won’t go into detail, but they, the Russians, will get surprises. The south is important.”

“Defending the east, where they have more than 200 thousand soldiers, is also very important. And, of course, we will prepare a new counter-offensive, a new operation. Of course, I’m not saying that we will just stand by. It depends on many things,” – stated the President of Ukraine.

He noted that even defense against the Russian Federation is a big task and challenge, since the forces are not equal.

Also in the interview, the Ukrainian leader said that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are five times lower than the Russian ones, the ratio is one to five.

For every Ukrainian soldier killed in battle, there are five Russian soldiers.
