Ukraine may receive Bell 407M attack helicopters

Ukraine has been offered to arm US Bell 407M light attack helicopters.

It is known that the talks were held during the Farnborough International Airshow, which is currently taking place in the UK. This is reported by Janes.

But the company at the moment refused to disclose the details of a possible deal.

It is only known that the sale of the helicopter is offered to Ukraine as part of a broad project.

The Bell 407M helicopter is a pragmatic combat vehicle that is based on the civilian 407 helicopter.

The helicopter’s armament supports the use of the high-precision missiles AGM-114 Hellfire and APKWS.

The helicopter is known to be equipped with armored pilot seats and ballistically stable blades.

There is also a fuel system pressurization system, means of detection and anti-aircraft missile countermeasures.

Earlier, it was reported that the German authorities may transfer Sea King Mk41 military helicopters to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian military may receive six such helicopters along with a set of spare parts.
