“Ukraine deserves NATO membership”: Erdogan said during a meeting with Zelensky

Ukraine deserves NATO membership!

Turkish President Recap Tayyip Erdogan said during a press conference with Volodymyr Zelensky that Ukraine deserves to be in NATO.

“Ukraine deserves membership in NATO. And I want to once again emphasize your presence. No one will lose from the onset of a just peace,” Erdogan stressed.

He also noted that Türkiye is ready to help in the restoration of Ukraine.

Erdogan also said that he is counting on Putin’s visit to the country next month.

There will also be phone calls with the Russian dictator to discuss the exchange of prisoners of war and the extension of the grain agreement for two years.
