Former US President Donald Trump declared victory in the Republican primaries in New Hampshire.
This was reported by CNN.
According to preliminary data, Trump had 53% of the vote, and his competitor, US Ambassador to the UN Nicky Haley, more than 46%.
Haley has reportedly already congratulated Trump on his victory in the New Hampshire primary, but said she remains in the race.
“The GOP contest is far from over, as many states still have to vote. “I look forward to my home state of South Carolina, where the primaries will take place on February 24,” said the ex-governor of South Carolina.
Trump’s victory in New Hampshire followed his historic victory in Iowa last week, where the former US president won more than 50% of the vote.
