Donald Trump has signed an executive order to delay the ban of TikTok in the United States for 75 days, Reuters reports.
The executive order directs the attorney general not to enforce the law banning the app as of January 19.
This is to allow the Trump administration to determine the appropriate course of action regarding TikTok.
The social network was previously blocked in the US by court order. But then Trump said he would restore its operation immediately after his inauguration.
Also, Trump reversed Biden’s January 14 decision and put Cuba back on the list of state sponsors of terrorism.
It was Trump who put Cuba on the list in 2021.
The Cuban president called the U.S. president’s decision “an act of mockery and insult.”
Biden’s decision last week was accompanied by Havana’s agreement to release more than 500 prisoners from its jails.
