US President Donald Trump has declared military action against Yemen’s Houthis.
“Today, I have ordered the armed forces of the United States to begin decisive and powerful military action against the Houthi terrorists in Yemen,” Trump wrote.
This is in response to the Houthi attacks in the Red Sea.
“They are waging an ongoing campaign of piracy, violence and terrorism against American and other ships, planes and drones,” Trump explained.
He stated that right now, the US Army is conducting airstrikes against the Houthis’ facilities.
Trump also called on them to stop any attacks in the Red Sea from now on; “otherwise hell will descend on you like you’ve never seen before.”
