A British hockey player accidentally kicked his opponent in the throat during a match

The elite hockey league match in Britain ended very tragically.

During the match, former Pittsburgh forward Adam Johnson suffered a fatal injury after a collision with another hockey player.

During a play on the court, another Sheffield Steelers hockey player accidentally cut his neck with a skate blade.

The match referee quickly stopped the game, the injured hockey player was taken to a medical facility, where he died from heavy blood loss.

Hockey player Adam Johnson was only 29 years old.
