They want to bury Navalny secretly

Russian investigators showed the body of murdered Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny to his mother and demanded that he be buried secretly.

His mother Lyudmila Navalnaya recorded a video in which she said that investigators showed her her son’s body and began to set conditions about where, how and when Alexey should be buried.

“With me, they receive orders either from the Kremlin or from the Investigative Committee. They want this to be done secretly, without saying goodbye. They want to take me to the outskirts of the cemetery, to a fresh grave and say… Here lies your son.”

“I don’t agree to this. They started threatening me and, looking me in the eyes, they say that if I don’t agree to a secret funeral, they will do something with my son’s body,” says Navalny’s mother.

According to her, investigator Voropaev openly said that “time is not on your side, corpses are decomposing.”

Lyudmila Navalna also again demanded that her son’s body be returned to her.

The causes of Navalny’s death are natural, according to the death report. This was reported by the press secretary of the Russian opposition party Kira Yarmysh.
